About JOCL

J. Oboboam Construction Ltd. (JOCL) is a Ghanaian-owned construction and engineering firm, founded by John O. Hammond-Hagan. We specialize in civil, electrical, and mechanical works, delivering turnkey solutions with precision, innovation, and integrity.

From renovations to full-scale builds, JOCL offers complete project execution — including labor supply, cost control, site management, and building services installation (HVAC, plumbing, low-voltage systems).

We work in synergy with our sister company, Firstunyk Services Ltd, which manages the trading and supply of construction materials, including PVC wall panels and finishes. This integration allows us to offer clients a streamlined and cost-effective service from materials to final delivery.

JOCL, “From the Ground Up – Built Right”.

  • Customer Focus – We listen, adapt, and exceed expectations.

  • Teamwork – We collaborate, support, and grow together.

  • Environmental Responsibility – We build sustainably and responsibly.

Our Mission

Our mission is to deliver high-quality construction and engineering solutions at competitive rates. We are committed to client satisfaction, safety, and excellence — building lasting relationships through integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Safety

Safety is at the heart of everything we do. At JOCL, we are committed to creating injury-free job sites by promoting a culture of accountability, proactive risk management, and continuous safety training.

We equip our staff and subcontractors with the tools and knowledge to work safely and effectively, ensuring that every project meets the highest safety standards — for our people, clients, and communities.
